Ready to Assemble cabinets are not assembled when they are shipped to you. They come in flat-pack boxes with all necessary assembly parts (hinges, etc.). Assembly is DIY or you can have your own contractor to assemble them prior to installation. This is the best option when you are looking to save money on the cabinets.
Pre Assembled cabinets are assembled by manufacturer cabinet professionals and are ready to install right out of the box. This is the best option when you want your cabinets assembled by an expert.
